Asa played baseball in high school and wanted to get back into the game after his time at the U of M. He stumbled upon a TCMABL game at the classic Van Cleve Park, chatted up the umpire, and felt as if he could hang. He joined the Ducks in 2014 in the draft.
Since he has joined the squad, he has proven himself as one of the top defensive catchers in the TCMABL. He also contributes some gap power and patience from the left side of the plate.
He is now the active manager of the Ducks.
