Week 5: The Knights took on the league leading Skeeters at home in Week 5, which was highlighted by TCMABL as the 35+ Game of the Week. The Skeeters jumped out to an early lead with 3 runs in the first, and the Knights answered right back with 3 of our own. We kept it close through the 5th as the Skeeters slowly broke away with their signature scoring of a run or two per inning. We ultimately lost 12-6, but it was a good game and good to see the Knights return to form with a productive day at the plate against a good pitcher and improved defense from last week. We still have some areas to clean up, but we are trending in the right direction as we look to get back in the W column next week in an away game against the Wobblies, if they can tell us what field we are playing at.
