  1. Brody Schintz Appeal – Orioles Team Rep(s)

-Frank Doolittle – Player was underage according to independent sites, which turned out to be incorrect, but player had previously played. Stats and games were mysteriously removed. Jon Lipinski suspended for 2014 season. Players suspended, team suspended from playoffs. Jon was reinstated, but player would have to go through draft and not be eligible to play for Orioles. Player wants to join team instead of going through draft.

Frank – vast improvement in team structure and behavior. Brody had played at Century and had a promising season. Out of baseball for a year and a half due to life circumstances. Understands needing to go through the draft but wants to play with guys he knows. Good for Orioles as well as for Brody.

-Team was a lot better on how they approach the game

-Openly and knowingly cheated

-Takes away from the integrity of the League on upholding punishments

-Teams should be conducting themselves in appropriate manners

-Actually did play for St. Paul Capitols last year

-VOTE: Player must go through the draft if he wants to play, League will not revisit the issue again.

  3. Rulebook states 7 innings, but it may have been understood to be 5 innings

-APPROVED

d.   Loopholes – ejected player, following week only 8 players available, opposing manager allowed ejected player to play

e.   Umpire not paid prior to game, umpire walked so League had to pay. Good practice to pay at manager meeting prior to the game start.

1a. Unpaid fees need to be paid within a week or risk playoff eligibility           and/or subject to further penalties.
