More feel good news, Ross Cover is back playing ball and went 3-5 with a double and an RBI, he also got back on the bump and Delano Bats won 14-4. Jeremy Belisle went 3-3 with two doubles and a homerun to drive in seven runs. He also got the win going four innings and fanning two. Tom Corcoran is good at baseball. How good? He went 3-5 with a double, homerun, two runs, two stolen bases and drove in five Hounds in the 10-0 win over the Isotopes. Steve Siquerious goes six strong for the win, only allowing four hits.
Jeremy Laird struck out ten and picked up the win as the Bulldogs won 3-2 over the Mariners in a pitching duel. James Zapf with two hits including a double and an RBI. Matt Brekke fanned nine for his losing cause. Ryan Anttila homers and Aaron Clark goes 3-3 with three runs batted in as the Piranhas blank the Snappers 8-0. Mike Kuhlman went six strong for the win.
The Rams, Cardinals and Coyotes all sit at 7-1 and are tangled in a three way for the National.
Joe Collier went 3-4 with a double and two RBI as the Rams sweep the Avengers but the super heroes kept it close the second game, falling 7-6. Rams are in a three way tie for first place in the National at 7-1. The Cardinals swept the True Blue. Matt Stengel with a double, triple and four driven in the morning game while John Remakel picked up the win. Cody Gustafson with the afternoon win going seven. Kyle Krob homered for the TB’s. Coyotes swept the Twins, Adam Weber struck out nine in seven for the Yotes 7-3 win. Jason Eddy with two doubles and four runs batted in for the day.
Donkeys sweep the Saints 24-0. Joey Novak struck out eleven batters and pitched a one hit complete shutout. The Donks are tied with the Bombers for first in the American. Bombers swept the Legends, the Bombers slugged out 20 hits overall on the day. Will Grodzicki picked up his fourth win of the summer to go along with his .87 ERA.
Max Uetz homered for the Indians and Mike Schaefer roughed up Noah Danner to sweep the Giants on Sunday. The Indians have won four in a row and are battling in a tough National Division. The Ducks and North Stars trade wins. Ed Fulton with four hits and Mike Wicker gets the win. The Stars bounce in the rematch by scoring 21 runs, including four from Sam Nelson, he also doubled twice. Adrian Waters got the win.
The Dodgers comeback and win in ten innings over the Grays 16-10. The Dodgers score ten runs in the 9th and 10th led by Mike Hinzmann’s four hits, three runs and three RBIs. Martin Cheatham also with three hits and four runs scored.
The Mavericks win 19-8 over the Wobblies on Sunday and sit in a first place with the Grays and Dodgers. Luke Neibauer with four hits and five runs batted in. Joe Halverson with three hits and four driven in. Todd Munson picked up the win.
The Voyageurs win big 13-3 over the Knights. Mike Wickman with three hits and three runs batted in. Michael Scott with three runs scored. Jared Klahsen with the complete game win for the green machine.
