After an early season slip up the Coyotes have won eleven in a row, including Sundays sweep over the True Blue. Jason Eddy continues his MVP ways going 2-3 with two runs batted in and TJ Wagner picked up the win closing the door in the last two innings for the 6-5 victory. The Yotes pull out another close one with a 3-0 afternoon win led by Adam Webers shutout performance, only allowing four hits and walking one in seven innings. Eddy doubled and drove in a run. Wyatt Zulkosky was solid for the True Blue, going all seven, only allowing three hits and striking out six. The Coyotes remain on top of the American with four weeks left of play.
On the other side of the board, the Sea Donkeys remain on top of the tight National by dodging an early scare from the Giants in the morning, the pitching duel between Noah Danner and Luke Elifson went the way for the Donks in the 2-1 win. Elifson went all seven, only allowing three hits, no earned and seven strikeouts. Danner went all seven, with one earned and six strikeouts. Dan Casazza tripled and scored a run in the win. The second game featured more offense highlighted by a Matt Shaver grand slam. Emery Hull and Casazza with three hits each. Andy Gaddis picked up the W in the 8-4 win. The Sea Donkeys sit on top of division one game over the Rams.
The Rams made quick work of the Reds winning with a combined sweep 19-0. Trevor Buttermore pitched a three hit shutout and struck out eight. Jordan Zoellmer went 3-3 with a double and two runs. Jeff Moe doubled and drove in three. In the afternoon Moe remained in the zone, going 2-3 with two runs and an RBI. Joe Collier had two hits and doubled and dove in one. Paul McGrath and Brian Moynihan with two RBIs each. Nolan Baker picked up the win going five shutout innings and only allowing two hits and fanning seven. RamJam have won seven in a row.
Cardinals are one game back from the Coyotes after splitting with the Twins on Sunday. Michael Lewis homerun for the Cards wasn’t enough as the Tri-City Twins pick up their first franchise win, 15-4. Chris Nordling, Mike Finzer and Max Mainwood all with two hits each. Mainwood drove in three runs as well as Tre Martin. Kress Medina got the win for the Twins in five innings of work. The Cardinals regrouped to win the rematch 13-8. Chris Jahnke tripled and drove in two. Dan Beard with three hits and John Remakel picked up the messy win. The Cards sit a game back from the Coyotes in the American.
The Legends sweep the Tigers to remain two games back. The Legends won the morning 8-5 with an overall offense attack. Seven different Legends scored a run and eight different Legends got a hit. Michael Walsh led with two hits and an RBI. Erik Lundgren picked up the win with six innings of work. The flip side featured John Toraason as a one-man show, throwing a complete game shutout, only allowing one hit and striking out seven. He also drove in the only run of the game to win 1-0.
The North Stars and Snappers trade wins with the morning game going to the Turtles. Ryan Marshall with three hits, a double and four driven in. Valentino Faulkner also with three hits, two doubles and two drove in. Jared Carlson with the complete game win. The Stars jump all over the Snappers in the late game 13-2. Allan Bates with two hits, two runs and three knocked in, and Nico Balcos triples and drives on in. Sam Nelson picked up the win, allowing one hit in four innings, striking out three.
The improving Indians and the Ducks split games on Sunday. The tribe won 6-4 led by multi-hit games from John Ogden, Matt Casey, Elliot Engen, Mike Schaefer and Ben Heezen. Casey, Engen and Schaefer all doubled, Engen and Schaefer drove in two runs each. Matt Casey got the win on the bump, striking out six in seven. The Ducks rebound big to win 17-7. Chris Fleming with three hits, a double and three RBIs. John Thomas and Richie Gulner with three hits each. Gulner hit two doubles and drove in three. Tom Hansen got the win for the birds.
The Bombers and Expos split with the Expos taking the first game 6-2. Rich Lowen and Mac Shepherd with two hits each, Ricki Borquez with a hit and two RBIs. Devon Bottger with the win going a complete seven allowing one earned. The Bombers build a quick lead and hold on for the 3-2 win. Will Grodzicki with a complete seven only allowing four hits and fanning four and walking none. Jack Yeakel with two hits a run and an RBI.
The only undefeated team in the league – Black Sox - stays unbeaten on Sunday with a 27-1 murder of the Blue Jays. Black Sox didn’t enter their stats so this murder has no witnesses and remains unsolved. (cue Law & Order theme music) The Sox sit on top of the American at 7-0.
The team right behind them in the standings continues on their five game winning streak as the Grasshoppers won 11-1. Dan Hill went 3-5 with a double and three RBIs, Sean Grenfell also had three hits for the bugs. Brandon Marschel with two hits, a double and three knocked in. Bryan Jamieson was spotless going a complete seven innings, allowing only four hits and no earned runs while striking out eight.
The Brewers remain on top of a tough National Division with a 6-0 cruise over the Hounds. Matt Grill with the complete game shutout win, no earned, one walk and four strikeouts. Matt Stengel doubled and tripled in his three hits and drove in two. Chris Fleming and Issac Banda also double in the win. Ryan Lutzka with three hits and one run scored.
The Lake Monsters comeback on the Muskies and walk off with 11-10 win, remaining a game back of the Brewers in the National. Ryan St. German with four hits and three runs scored. Reed Richerson with a double and three knocked in. Anthony Gross picked up the win, pitching a scoreless two innings and some change. The Muskies mysteriously had no one pitch that game according to the box score, no wonder they lost the game. The Monsters have won three in a row.
Jamar Cadejuste was unstoppable as the Mets won big over the Piranhas 12-2. “Juice” struck out twelve in six innings and picked up the win. Arthur Nunez and Chandler Maclean with four hits each, both also doubled. Andrew Kern and Manny Lopez with three hits each. Kern drove in three runs and walked twice. The Mets have won two in a row and are climbing in the American.
The Northeast Nine have won two in a row and climb back into the thick of the pack in the National. The Nine won 13-8 over the Generals. James Ondrey, Nate Stark, Brian Weller and Ben Heezen all with two hits each, Ondrey and Stark with three RBIs each. Stark also picked up the win going a complete nine innings. Evan Matson with four hits for the Generals. Joe Valentine doubled twice and drove in three for the Mills in the loss.
The Mariners make quick work of the Isotopes 9-1. Jeff Farr with the win, pitching five innings and striking out six. Grant Barthel with two hits and two RBIs, Matt Brekke, Ryan Papke and Jason Bujold all double in the win. Sam Claeson with three hits for the Isotopes in the loss.

The Dodgers have won four in a row with a 16-5 win over the Mavericks. The balanced Dodger attack totaled nine hits and eleven walks. Bret Repaski with two hits and a run scored. Frank Markie with the win. The Mavericks hit the delete button and erased their offensive statistics for last Sundays game.
The Grays have also won four in a row with a 10-1 win over the Wobblies. Jon Widerski with three hits including two homeruns and four runs batted in. Erik Esala with four hits and run scored. The Wolves totaled sixteen hits overall with everyone recording a hit except one. Jon Schlotz was sharp going eight innings and striking out eleven, pitching a no-hitter into the seventh inning.
Cubs won 10-5 over the Voyageurs, Jon Barbella with the win on the bump and also drove in four runs with two hits. Steve Bubb and Nate Ackman both doubled and Brett Hughes and Ben Rossum with two hits each. Scott Knutson with two hits and two RBIs in the loss for the Voyageurs.
Erik Lundgren homers again for the Padres but it wasn’t enough as the Skeeters win 11-5. Ken Wangler went the distance for the win, striking out twelve while allowing three earned. Paul Dietz homered for the bugs. Bob Gordon with three hits and two runs scored. Tom Genrich and Serr Nate with two hits each. Skeeters have won two in a row.
