Until the rain starts coming down, pouring…
Off and on rain storms put a damper on things this past Sunday, one team that enjoyed the rain on Sunday was the Mets in a 17-7 win over the Generals. The Mets bats were making it rain with two homeruns (AJ Nunez and Brandon Walzer) and eighteen hits overall for the Metropolitans. Walzer had four hits and two runs batted in, Nunez had three RBIs and scored four times. Manuel Moreno picked up the win and Jamar Cadejuste sang karaoke post game at the Vegas Lounge. Rumors are he sang “Candy Rain” by Soul for Real. Rest in peace Heavy D.
Emery Hull homers and drives in four as the Brewers win (shocker) over the Isotopes 10-0. Andy Gaddis, Matt Stengel and Ryan Lutzka all with two hits each. Jared Lindquist homered for the fishermen and Matt Brekke got the win throwing eight innings and fanning four. Trevor Todd had three hits for the Hounds in the loss.
Black Sox won 12-3 over the Lake Monsters. Delano Bats beats the Bulldogs 11-2. Whoever pitched for Delano Bats threw a two-hitter. Good job bud. Muskies, Blue Jays, Grasshoppers, Knights, Northeast Nine and the Piranhas all were rained out.

Dodgers lost 7-3 to the Padres but officially won 9-0. Yeah.
The Sea Donkeys sweep the Ducks to build a commanding lead in the National Divison. Luke Elifson wins the morning game going all seven and striking out seven. Jelani Thomas and Isaiah Nowlan with a double and two RBIs each in the win. Andy Gaddis wins the second game with his only blemish being a Duck homerun from John Thomas. Emery Hull homers (No, this is not a Brewers highlight) and drove in three and Dan Casazza with three hits and three RBIs for the Donks as they sit in first comfortable.
The Rams and Expos trade wins. The Expos win the morning 6-1 and Devon Bottger scattered six hits and got the seven inning checkmark. Jake Poe with three hits with a double and RBI. Jonathan Rans hit two doubles and Max McCarthy drove in three. The Rams got their revenge with a 12-2 win. Dan Wenzel homers for the True Blue but its not enough as the Snappers attend a hit parade led by Ryan Flanders four hits and Trevor Stolhanske’s double and three run morning, Pierre Edwards with two hits and a double for the turtles as well.
Bombers have won three in a row including this Sundays sweep over the Reds. The Indians and Giants split a series and Cardnals trade wins with the Tigers. Other baseball activities happened as well and it’s Saturday night and I need to get out of here…
